Father,

We do not pray enough, and when we do it is usually for selfish reasons or because we are in need. Forgive us for for our weak faith in You. Forgive us for our foolish choices and past mistakes. There are many of us facing fear and uncertainty because of this shadow war. There are many of us without work or income. This is the time we should be celebrating as evil is being destroyed, yet it is hard to smile when we face such unknowns. Many of us have others who rely on our ability to feed and clothe and protect them. Lord, give your people peace. Reassure us that You are always the One in control. Protect those that are fighting for our freedom. Unleash your wrath on those who have enslaved mankind and blasphemed Your holy name. Remind us that you feed the birds of the air, and bring the dew which quenches the flowers thirst. Remind us how much more you love us, and that You promised to keep us. Give us the peace and ease that only You can provide. Lord, You alone deserve all praise and honor and glory. We ask this in Jesus name. Amen.
