Another state moves to cashless tolls; their greater plan in action:

MANCHESTER, N.H. โ€”"Changes made in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 took effect Monday at New Hampshireโ€™s toll booths. The changes went into effect at midnight Monday morning.

Between 5 a.m. and 9 p.m., toll-takers will no longer make change for customers in the cash lanes, making them "exact fare only." If a driver does not have the exact amount, they will have seven days to pay the toll online or by phone.

For those traveling at night, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., all plazas will be E-ZPass-only. Cash lanes will be closed. Drivers who don't have an E-ZPass can run the toll and will have seven days to pay online at ezpassnh.com or by phone at 877-643-9727. If the toll is not paid within seven days, the registered owner of the vehicle will receive an invoice.

This will be the procedure at all state toll plazas for the foreseeable future."

I don't know how it was done, but it seems almost certain that somehow it was weakened. That their planned casualties are much lower than what they had wanted. The theory about 5G being involved is controversial, but I am wondering if that might explain the lack of cases in, for example, West Virginia, that does not yet have an extensive network.
