Anon is only spitballing here, but the timing of POTUS's trip to see PM Modi in India might have been related to the CCP virus.

India is one of the world's biggest producers of generic pharmaceuticals and POTUS knows we can't just re-start U.S.-based production of these things overnight. However India is already up and running with its pharmaceutical plants.

If POTUS could see China would stop selling us their cheap pharmashit, he may have gone to see PM Modi to arrange an alternate source.
