Hope I don't get attacked for this, but wanted to post because of all the #FilmYourHospital videos. We see both sides of this situation in our household.

We (boyfriend and I) live in a very small New England town. BF works for one of the big courier services and I've been self-employed and working from home for years. Neither of us is sick. Both are working as we normally do since his company is classed as "essential." Our little town only has a small grocery store, pharmacy, hardware store, post office, gas station, and a couple of restaurants. With the exception of the restaurants switching to take-out only, life here seems pretty normal and quiet as usual.

However, BF is from California and his family is still there. His sister is an ER nurse in the Bay Area. They are getting absolutely slammed. She is so stressed out, we can hear it in her voice. We found out last night that she was admitted due to extremely high blood pressure and high heart rate. I'm glad she's being forced to rest a little bit. She needs it. We've been worried about her. She can't go visit their parents because they're in their 80s, and she doesn't want to take the risk.

So while it may be true that many hospitals are quiet, I know of at least one that is NOT, and this is from a trusted family member who works there. BF and I have been together more than a decade, so his family is my family.
