Anon learned to type on an antique typewriter. They’re overrated. If you type top fast they keys will get stuck, not to mention you have to change the ribbon, which is messy.
Electric typewriters were very nice to use. Selectric typewriter in particular was awesome, the one with letters on a rotating ball. It was convenient to be able to add type to any document just by putting it in a typewriter.
