Wifeanon works in home health. Told this story already, about how the office went to remote/phone when possible (not all patients can be "phone checked", so she's out there, daily). Dr. for the facility managed to crank up the fear a bit when she mentioned that she may have had 4 patients showing up with the symptoms, but had to turn them away because they only had 4 test kits, and since they weren't needing intubation, they couldn't authorize testing.
All shit like that does is make people panic/live in fear. Don't fucking diagnose someone, or act like you wanted to diagnose someone with something, without proper testing, you know? Anyway, wifeanon is taking precautions, and despite all the local gov'ts shutting down towns except for "essential businesses", haven't met anyone that has been diagnosed, and local hospitals are still business as usual; even quieter for some.
