Sounds to me like you don’t “really” know too many grannies but perhaps your own. And you’ll see as granny rather than a warrior because that’s the relationship and her responsibility to you. Trust me, grannies are an extreme sisterhood that go well beyond Grandma role. They’d happily go down in burning flames for their grandkids and that should tip you off.
Stay healthy and in shape. Learn basic skills. Stock up on necessary prescriptions and OTC first aide and medications. Stock up on feminine products, toilet paper and diapers as indicated. Extra Pet food. In an urban area? Figure out how to get out which may mean a sturdy bike, repair kit. If you don’t/can’t have a firearm, get a good knife and toy replica gun (the kind with a yellow/orange tip) and black paint to look real to use to bluff your way out of town. Urban dwellers, if Grandma in the country isn’t nearby, get a storage facility out in the sticks with enough supplies to get to your safe space. Have a plan.

I thought Trump was nuts to put her in front of the press corps. Figured it was vanity position orchestrated by her dad. Was disappointed Trump went along with such a disaster. Figured she’d be slow witted and desperate for attention. Jeeze was I wrong. She’s a genuine rock star.
