Because we forget what's in them, even when we do go back and read once in a while.

Every time i've done it i stumbled on things that i could now see in a new light, things i wanted to rush back here to post again, and share this new insight/angle.

It also helps with attempted fuckery: i see a lot of people/twatters/youtubers/etc getting details wrong, either about the Q timeline or the posts themselves. Knowing our crumbs well helps keep the archives solid, and the memory of them unsullied, and prevents - or at least diminishes the chances of success of - attempts at poisoning the well.

It should also be mandatory for impatient anons who beg for new crumbs - shutup and go back to read all there is, it is a huge, huge body of work by now.

My preferred method is either the qmaps, or just the raw txt pastebin, with the spreadsheet on hand to go clear up details when needed

>telling people to stop doing something here usually makes it MUCH worse, I won't advise that tactic

and they learned the hard way never, ever to complain about a few boobs & bakergirls ever again, wishing they could forget what they saw posted as revenge instead

>the novelty of a new drop, a new dig, the rush, the excitement, I get that. The same can be acquired from simply re_ reading and seeing something in the 900+ drops already there from a new angle, with future proving past.

yesyesyes, so true.

ANONS THAT RUSH YOU WANT IS RIGHT THERE AT YOUR DISPOSAL,you just have to go re-read with attention (as you would a new drop).

and there's no way you can be human and know them perfectly in full at all times. It's ok, none of us do.

and very good point on the multiple readings: finding new meanings does not erase or diminish whichever interpretation was already there. Just like a poem or song keeps its meaning when you find new things in it, it's just added dimensions.

Yes, the "P is (x)" anons get annoying, but if that means just have to push that button for any new reading of any vintage crumb to get hollered at, you're making it way too easy for them….

If you're pointing out that listing mission's been pretty much forgotten/never actually done like other things we at least tried, i'd have to admit you're right.

Maybe it's because there are websites like vigilantcitizen etc that have done quite a lot of work on it already and it doesn't feel as new?

Is it because shills have succesfully herded anons away from it every time?

I know we have some digging on the wives, some lists of suicides/resignations, some side-by-sides, but that's one of the things that got neglected, it seems…

one more reason to re-read crumbs: need anons to notice these things and get on it or at the very least point them out…

we need some learned anons to school us on light/glass/water refraction effects, because that's likely 99% of what's going on here.

Try it at home, kids, get some water in a glass and look through it: you might not understand what's going on (just as i couldn't explain properly), but you'll see it's like a hall of fun mirrors in terms of distortion/reversals etc.

WE HAVE CHESSFAGS AND PLANEFAGS AND LAWFAGS AND SO MUCH MORE

physicsfags step up?

or as the saying goes:

>maintain a crew of WRANGLERS

you can try, but then shills will become wranglers and wranglers shills and a lot of bread will still be eaten up by it all, so i'm not sure it's worth the effort… depends how you take it on, i guess
