Is it the expense, overhead and availability even today?

If you have it and are asymptomatic =>
You can infect someone that becomes ill and in a risk group
Once you know you have had it
then you dont need to quarantine any longer or worry about it
It would be valuable information
and so would the antibody test
There are people each of us has to stay away from indefinitely that are in the risk groups
There are good reasons for testing. But they are clearly against it.
