Aside from that he's the attorney that received/submitted the CIA email from Klinesmith that had been "doctored" to read that Carter page was NOT a CIA asset during the FISA application, when the CIA had indicated that he in fact was. The whole team must have known the truth, but not officially, which left McCabe AND Klinesmith holding the bag when the CIA contradicted their submission during the subsequent investigation of the investigators. Yet Klinesmith alone was thrown under the bus. Do the math.
