ustoms and Border Protection on Monday said its officials could deny entry to children who cross the southern border alone under an order by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, or CDC. The agency said some minors could be excluded from the CDC directive if a border official "suspects trafficking or sees signs of illness."

The administration has been using the CDC order, based on a 1940s law that allows the government to bar the entry of foreigners whom it determines could carry a communicable disease, to rapidly turn back border-crossing migrants to Mexico or Canada — or to swiftly deport them to their home countries. Officials have said the objective is to prevent overcrowding in detention facilities where the coronavirus could spread.

But the measures have been denounced by advocates as yet another barrier for asylum-seekers hoping to request protection in the U.S. They say Monday's announcement that the policy also applies to unaccompanied minors is particularly concerning because it overrides not just U.S. asylum law and obligations under international refugee treaties, but legal safeguards for migrant children.

I can't find the Telecommunications act that allows for, in time of war, allows the government the ability to take over the network. The telecommunications network is also considered A NATIONAL SECURITY ASSET and is stated so in that directive. IIRC that act or FCC directive was made after 1945.

So it's a shame AT&T has 50% of it's workers from foreign countries and uses foreign contractors even to the point of operating out of country. It makes the USA strategic asset extreme vulnerable to foreign attack and subversion. The entire software research decision is run by Indians, Chinese, Pakis and Muslims.

If it became critical, how would the US Got/Paramilitary staff s place like AT&T if 50% of the workers are (hostile) foreigners?
