In 2008, Bill Gates formally founded a nuclear energy company called TerraPower. He gatherd brainiacs from across the energy sector. Those brainiacs include people from the private sector, military background and Department of Energy. In 2015 he included the China National Nuclear Corporation and in 2017 signed a memorandom of understanding for cooperation with them.
