High school teacher anon here. East Coast, rural/suburban area. I am getting about 95% assignment submission rate with my CP classes. About 50% w/my general classes. Funny how every kid has a school-issued Chromebook and Google Classroom set up since September all of a sudden forgot how to use them. Still, this is the United States of America. Kek, well…the thing is…teachers should never seek to be liked. It happens sometimes, though – usually later, when they're in college and they email to thank, retrospectively. I'm truly not a hard ass, tho. My students have told me over the years I am neither "hard" nor "easy," but fair. I take that as a compliment.
