'All fine': Putin takes regular tests, Kremlin reassures public, as chief of сoronavirus hospital diagnosed with Covid-19
The head of Moscow’s coronavirus hospital has tested positive for Covid-19, sparking questions about the tour he personally gave to Vladimir Putin last week. The Kremlin assured everyone there was nothing to worry about.
“He takes regular tests,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said about the president on Tuesday after Protsenko's diagnosis was revealed. “Everything is fine.”
Doctor Denis Protsenko, who heads the hospital where Putin last week donned a biohazard suit to talk to coronavirus patients, has caught the disease himself.

Russian Upper House OKs Bill on Up to 5 Years of Imprisonment for COVID-19 Disinformation
MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The Russian upper house, the Federation Council, approved on Tuesday a bill that makes the dissemination of fake information about the coronavirus a crime punishable with up to five years of imprisonment.
Under the bill, the punishment for public dissemination of deliberately false information about issues that present a threat to public life and security as well as about measures taken to tackle this threat will vary depending on consequences of such a crime.
It may be punished by a fine from 300,000 ($3,825) to 700,000 ($8,925) rubles, up to 1 year of community service, or up to 3 years of imprisonment.
However, if the dissemination of deliberately false information results in health harm, or someone's death, or other dire consequences, it will be punishable with fines of up to 2 million rubles or up to five years in prison.
In addition, the upper house approved a bill on criminal liability of up to 7 years in prison for violating coronavirus quarantine rules

Libyan Army captures important area near Tripoli as Turkish-backed forces suffer heavy losses
BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:00 P.M.) – The Libyan National Army (LNA) continued their large-scale assault across the Tripoli axis this week, seizing several sites from the Turkish-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) forces and their allied Syrian mercenaries.
According to Brigadier-General Khaled Al Mahjoub, the LNA captured a number of sites in southern Tripoli and the greater capital area, including the plateau project after a fierce battle with the GNA.
Al Mahjoub said that the plateau project is considered one of the important neighborhoods near the heart of the capital and that controlling it facilitates the process of entering the capital.
While a military source confirmed the continuation of LNA operations along a number of axes in the western region, including the Tunisian border.
Furthermore, the GNA and their Syrian allies have had a rough five days, as their forces have suffered heavy losses at the hands of the LNA troops.

Is Dr. Deborah Birx, the doctor with the scarf, a voice of reason or another Deep State doctor pushing economic disaster and suffering?
Her past unfortunately provides the answer.
Dr. Deborah Birx comes across as the calming voice of reason while encouraging Americans to default on their life savings. She encourages Americans to stay at home and away from the coronavirus that is killing 80 year olds with pre-existing medical conditions. The fact that fatalities from the virus are almost non-existent in the working class has no bearing on Dr. Birx’s recommendations.
In spite of the fact that the death rates from the coronavirus to date are a fraction of the numbers from this year’s flu season, Dr. Birx suggests we all stay home and shut down the economy together.
Dr. Birx previously said all of the flu models predicted somewhere between 1.6 and 2.2 million deaths if the government did not mitigate. But we all know that these are large and excessive numbers difficult to validate. Dr Birx said some models predicted half of the United States would be infected.
Of course these predictions are based on wild exaggerations. In the next two months as the coronavirus numbers are tallied at a much lesser mortality rate Americans will not be so happy about losing their jobs and their life savings due to the dire predictions of the lady with the scarf, Dr. Birx. Over 140,000 People Have Already Recovered From the Coronavirus
Less than 5% of the people infected with the coronavirus have died; more are recovering
Spanish – Five percent of those infected have died from the pandemic that has paralyzed the world. The majority- over 663,000 of those infected- are suffering from mild symptoms, and over 143,000 have been cured.
While we shouldn’t underestimate the death toll of over 30,000 people so far, amid concerns about the coronavirus pandemic, it is also important to note that the numbers are proportionately encouraging
The disease is usually fatal for elderly patients and those with pre-existing medical conditions. People with cardiac and respiratory issues, and especially, cancer patients are most likely to die due to COVID-19.
Although there are cases of healthy people and young people who have died from the virus, they are rare. There have also been older people who have survived, including those over 100 years old.

IG Horowitz Found ‘Apparent Errors or Inadequately Supported Facts’ in Every Single FBI FISA Application He Reviewed
The Justice Department inspector general said it does “not have confidence” in the FBI’s FISA application process following an audit that found the Bureau was not sufficiently transparent with the court in 29 applications from 2014 to 2019, all of which included “apparent errors or inadequately supported facts.”
Inspector General Michael Horowitz released a report in December which found that the FBI included “at least 17 significant errors or omissions in the Carter Page FISA applications and many errors in the Woods Procedures” during its Crossfire Hurricane investigation of the 2016 Trump campaign. After releasing the report, Horowitz said that he would conduct a further investigation to see if the errors identified in the Page application were widespread.

New laws for coronavirus usher in the brave new world.
Neighbors spying on neighbors, people encouraged to report each other, curtains twitching as you walk by. Sound familiar?
The tactics used by the Stasi in East Germany in 1950, creating a secret police organization through a vast network of informants, are now being encouraged by British police in the UK in 2020. And the Chinese Virus was all it took for people to willingly comply.
Humberside Police (in the east midlands of England) has created an online portal where people can report those they suspect of not following social distancing rules, such as exercising only once a day or leaving the house only to buy food or for medical emergencies
They say:
‘Reports will be assessed based on the information provided and we would ask people to please consider the circumstance before making their report.’
Another force – Derbyshire Police (central midlands) – sent drones to a remote walking spot in the Peak District, an area known for its beautiful views, and captured actual footage of … dog walkers. There is something very disconcerting about police filming innocent people without their permission.
‘Walking your dog in the Peak District. Not essential.
Going for a walk miles from home. Not essential.
Going out of your way for an Instagram snap. Not essential.’
Each statement was overlaid on actual footage of real people quietly taking their exercise in solitude miles from anywhere and anyone. This is the British police acting as the New Puritans, placing dog walkers in metaphorical stocks to be publicly shamed.

Government Officials, Corporate Media Spur Fears of “Chaos” in 2020 Election
After the 2016 US elections, media outlets and politicians fed public fears that election security would likely to be compromised by foreign interference in future years, including especially in the 2020 presidential election. A joint statement issued in November 2019 by the Departments of Justice, Defense, Homeland Security, the Director of National Intelligence, the FBI, the National Security Administration, and the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) fostered rampant speculation about potential election interference by China, Russia, and Iran, among others.
Although the joint statement acknowledged that “no evidence of a compromise or disruption to election infrastructure” existed at the time, politicians, pundits, and news outlets have been quick and consistent in pointing fingers towards a broad list of typical foreign threats, as Whitney Webb reported for MintPress News.
In fact, Webb reported, the technologies that these foreign powers might use to meddle in US elections have been developed by “a web of companies with deep ties to Israeli intelligence.”
In a January 4, 2020 report, Webb described a simulation of the 2020 election run by Cybereason. Intended to assess the preparedness of FBI, Department of Homeland Security, and Secret Service officials to prevent “bad actors” from undermining the upcoming presidential election, Cybereason’s simulation included one scenario that included cancelation of the election and the declaration of martial law, Webb reported.
As Webb reported on January 28, 2020, a “clear overlap” between Cybereason’s simulation and the intelligence-driven media narrative is “clear cause for concern, especially considering that the technologies that they highlight as ultimately upending the election are dominated by the very same intelligence agencies simulating and crafting that narrative.

Chemical brothers: Monsanto & BASF knew for years their products destroy US farms, documents reveal
US agro-chemical firm Monsanto and Germany's BASF were aware for a long time that their plan to introduce a new agricultural seed and chemical system would probably lead to damage on many US farms.
According to internal documents seen by the Guardian, the firms disregarded the risks even while they planned on how to profit off farmers who would buy Monsanto's new seeds just to avoid damage.
The documents (some of them date back more than a decade) have been uncovered during a recent successful $265 million lawsuit brought against both firms by a Missouri farmer.
They also revealed how Monsanto opposed some third-party product testing, in order to curtail the generation of data that might have worried regulators.
In some of the internal BASF emails, employees were joking about sharing "voodoo science" and hoping to stay "out of jail."
