I can tell you right now that Any first responder deaths from CovId19 will be met with Very HEAVY PUSHBACK from both the Carriers as well as the State of NY per NYS own guidance pushed out 2 weeks ago to carriers. Without getting in the weeds think of it like this:

Cop arrests someone with regular flu, cop gets sick and dies.

Not recognized as “work related” or as we say “ Accident or injury arising out of and in the course of employment”

Community spread disease is not covered
