Dan Crenshaw Compares Jesus to Fictional Characters

Dan Crenshaw appears to deny that Jesus was a real historical figure in a video clip posted to twitter from a podcast he had appeared in on YouTube.

“The important thing is we have societal hero archetypes that we look up to. Jesus is a, is a hero archetype. Superman is a hero archetype. Real characters too, you know I could name a thousand. You know, Rosa Parks, Ronald Regan. All of these people embody certain attributes that the American people think this is good”

Conservative politicians have used the good will of American Christians to elevate their standings among voters. Many libertarian politicians appear to play Christian, rather than truly stand up for and defend Christian ideals.

We searched Rep Dan Crenshaw’s twitter page for references to Jesus to help clarify his views and found that he had not once mentioned Jesus in any one of his tweets.

It would be nice for Dan Crenshaw to clarify his position to the many Christians who voted him into office.

Dan Crenshaw sparked controversy late last year when he told students at a political speaking event, “you are going to regret this. You are going to regret being on camera”. The veiled threatening rhetoric was largely overlooked by establishment conservatives.
