While I will never defend Catholics, it's just a symbol. How it's used matters.

If it's used to find sacrifices, that's a big fucking deal. If it's used to help people, that certainly matters too.

Put more effort in to things, anon.

What if, instead, what you see as an ailment was instead something else happening inside of you?

What if other people have gone through this, reported something similar to you and ultimately overcame it, being more at peace, being more powerful and being more competent than before?

It definitely matters how you look at it.

"God" got angry that people kept trying to help us.

There's a reason he kills them or punishes them over and over again.

He straps them to a rock, and sends a bird to come eat their liver over and over.

He hangs them from a tree.

He banishes them from The City or The Garden.

He forces them to roll a boulder up a hill.

He forces them to bear the weight of the world upon their shoulders.

He offers them a deal made of Lead. Or is it Dael?โ€ฆ I can't quite remember.

But he's flown away before, promising to return in our time of need.
