all speculation that gets posted and reposted, with theories building on more speculation and incredible stretches. These then get cited to show that "Qanon conspiracy is wackadoodle!"
I suspect some hypotheses are put out because there are a lot of stoners here, or because ABCs realize that stoners will latch onto something easily and will defend it despite logic or evidence (psychological result) because it becomes personal. And any attempt at pointing out the silliness of these hypotheses is met with fury and piling on by those who are on the bandwagon and psychologically invested in them.
More will jump on these bandwagons with more stretching and more posts are made with little pushback from others because they are just silly, and silly things sometimes don't warrant the time/effort to refute.
