POTUS's DACA offer was on the table.

It was a generous offer, more than Dems had requested.

Dems ignored/rejected it.

Dems are not really interested in the DACA recipients.

They are interested in using the issue in the midterms to enhance their electoral chances.

Cynical Dems.

Now POTUS has taken his DACA offer off the table.

Sensible way to negotiate.

Has to be willing to follow through with both promises and threats.

And he did.

but let's say I own a home.

I have the absolute right to control who enters my home, and bar entry of someone who is uninvited.

So too a country.

A country has the right to secure its borders, for the safety and protection and security of its lawful citizens.
