There was a request to make a separate Space Force but it was turned down, I forget by whom. It will be a part of the Air Force, but remember the Air Force used to be a part of the Army until it got split off, so I expect Space Force can have some autonomy.

Someone said Obama hired almost all the current SES, vastly expanding the numbers, and they're organized into a cabal and have meetings and organizational structure. That's what I think the story is. If Obama hired 90% of them (is that really true) he could plausibly have brought in an organized group. That's the assertion as I understand it.
