Severe cases of Covid-19 develop a secondary called sHLH as a result of hyperferritinaemia which ends up with them devolping Cytokine Storm Syndrome and their own immune system attacking the body resulting in multiple organ failure.

To recap Covid-19 in blood supply infects them. The addiction to Adrenochrome keeps them needing more and more blood. Develop Hyperferritinaemia and as a result of already being infected with Covid-19 they end up having CSS thus their immune system kills them.
