Japanese Vice President Says WHO Should Be Renamed the CHO or the "Chinese Health Organization"
Japanese Deputy Vice President Aso Taro told reporters the World Health Organization should change its name to the Chinese Health Organization.
So far 500,000 people have signed the petition for the name switch.

Pro-Taiwan Japanese politician Aso Taro blasted the World Health Organization for bowing to China and excluding Taiwan as a member state. Speaking to Japanese lawmakers, Aso Taro, the deputy prime minister, said the WHO should change its name to the “CHO,” or China Health Organization.
Taro said being excluded from the global health body, Taiwan was driven to become a world leader in combating the coronavirus. The coronavirus pandemic has led to the postponement of the 2020 Olympics in Japan.
Speaking in Japan’s parliament, the country’s deputy prime minister leveled fresh criticism against China. Although the details are murky, the WHO’s previous director-general was a Chinese national and at the time, there were complaints all around. The current petition has gathered 500,000 signatures. People think the World Health Organization should change its name. It shouldn’t be called the WHO. It should be renamed the CHO. This appeal is truly resonating with the people.

Lockheed Martin Wins $820 Million Deal to Make 790 Air-to Surface Missiles
Lockheed Martin has won a more than $818 million US Air Force contract to produce 790 more Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles (JASSM), the Department of Defence said in a press release.
"Lockheed Martin Corporation of Orlando, Florida has been awarded an $818,210,722 …contract for Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) Lot 17 and 18 productions", the release stated on Wednesday.
The contract provides for 360 Lot 17 JASSM-Extended Range (ER) missiles; 40 Lot 17 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) JASSM-ER missiles; and 390 Lot 18 JASSM-ER missiles, the Defence Department said.
Work on the contract will be performed in Orlando in the US state of Florida over the next four and a half years and is expected to be completed by 31 October 2024, the release said.
In February, Lockheed Martin’s Sikorsky business unit said it was building six VH-92A Presidential Helicopters for the US Navy, with a delivery date set for 2022.
In January, Lockheed Martin announced that it had been awarded a one-year contract worth nearly $2 billion to service nearly 500 jets already delivered and prepare the infrastructure for an eventual deployment of 3,000 aircraft.

Virginia Man Faces Sexual Battery Charges Involving Children At In-Home Day Care
FALLS CHURCH, VA — Detectives arrested Santiago Alvarado Garcia, 50, of Falls Church on Friday and charged him with three counts of aggravated sexual battery.
Detectives were contacted on Thursday, March 26, after a child from Digna Alvarado Garcia Daycare disclosed that they had been inappropriately touched by Garcia.
The daycare has operated at 2988 Monticello Drive since 2017 and was formerly located at 7503 Parkwood Court in 2016. Garcia is employed by a general contractor and has lived in the homes as his primary residence while the daycare has been in operation.
Detectives believe there may be more victims.
