One of the worst movies ever made is Mad Max 4 Fury Road. I saw part of it on video, and it really sucked, but it was very highly rated from rotten tomatoes, etc.

Blood transfusions and the need for pure human blood is central to the movie. Max Max himself is considered a universal blood donor and is imprisoned and used as a "blood bag" for a sick War Boy called Nux. The antagonist is Immortal Joe.

I had to go read some summaries of the plot to refresh my memory.

The salient point is that the whole plot involves the escape of Mad Max and 5 women who are held as prisoners and used as chattel, blood bags, breeding utensils for these insane monsters who are running the post-apocalyptic world. The "escape" of innocent victims from that kind of life, from that kind of world, is a narrative we seem to be following in real life.

I won't bother doing a full summary–you can read it here:

The symbolism and the them is highly relevant to what many here are considering, with the possibility that many "slaves" of one kind or another (blood bags, sex slaves, food), may soon be released all at once after rescue by the white hats.

While the whole blood drinking thing is almost everywhere in pop culture, I think this "movie" has some special symbolic significance and reveals dark facts about the cult that they often flaunt for the whole world to see – and perhaps how they use it to find some kind of insane form of redemption.
