Phil Anon here. What we have are a lot of mixed up rules about what you can and cannot do, depending on which island, province, and town we live in. We have a curfew for example, between 8pm and 5am, but I have no idea what that accomplishes. There is no forced sheltering, but you need a pass if you are outside of your neighborhood. There are checkpoints, and the major ones do have National Police with guns. The local ones just have old guys from the village. They have bleach pads to drive over, which is a prevention measure used against the Swine Flu…who knows how that is supposed to help. We can still go shopping, but usually there are limits to how many customers.

 

My opinion is they are doing a wait and see until there is some officially recommended treatment. If I were high risk, I'd be trying to find some hydroxychloroquine :)
