So, hospital workers have immediate access to sinks and soap. Plus they are given masks and gloves. But the workers on the Front Lines in grocery stores have very limited access to sinks and soap. And they are not given masks and gloves. Those are our Honors Student children that are not being given access to masks and gloves. These children must handle cash, products touched by people, collect dirty carts from the parking lot, and keep stocking up the shelves for all those greedy germy customers. Is there one good reason why our children are being denied PPE???? Essential workers usually don't have instant access to a sink and soap. Essential workers are putting their lives on the line far more than hospital workers are. Essential workers deserve the safety of PPE. Denying those workers is shameful. Our essential workers matter. And many of them are our children. On the Front Lines in this with doubled work hours and still keeping up with school work.
