we lived in the cheapest house of all of our friends and relataives.

we drove cheap old cars, never ever new.

we took cheap vacations.

we did our own work around the house.

we sacrificed and we have very little debt.

Now, unless you are disabled or became disabled through no fault of your own, then you made poor choices.

how many of you married 2 or 3 times.

how many bought nice houses and new cars.

how many bought motorcycles or boats or the latest technology....well, because you 'needed' it or 'deserved' it.

how many traveled and stayed in resorts and nice hotels because we deserve it just this once or twice or three times.

you are in debt because you thought you deserved 'nice' things like EVERYBODY ELSE HAD.

you are in debt because you were sheep following the crowd.
