I think I found something anons,

The CSX Corporation is made up of a merger between two large groups of railroads.

The Chessie System which formerly held the Chesapeake & Ohio, the Baltimore & Ohio, and the Western Maryland railroads.

Then you had the Seaboard System Railroad 'family.'

Historically the Seaboard System Railroads was made up of many smaller lines,

with the most prominent being the former Seaboard Air Line Railroad and the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad.

It's complicated but the gist of it is this:

The family that historically has influence over both Chessie via the B&O and the Seaboard System Railroad via the Seaboard Air Line Railroad is:

The Warfields.

S. Davies Warfield was an executive for the Seaboard Air Line Railroad (along with many other companies.)

He is best known for for extending the SAL lines deep into Flordia.

That alone raises nipples because of the modern day influence of Flordia on trafficking and general fuckery (i'm looking at you Broward).

 

What makes me latch onto the Warfield family is that S. Davies Warfield's FATHER, Henry Mactier Warfield, was a director for the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad,

Interdastingly when Davies Warfield died the Baltimore Steam Packet Company, of which he was an executive, named a ship the SS President Warfield.

That ship was secretly purchased by the Hagahan group of Jewish Nationals and renamed the Exodus 1947.

It was used to shuttle Jewish settlers into Palestine.
