this anon had it too. Took 8 wks to get over it, but I was using ibuprofen for the body aches which we now know exacerbates it. Cough was dry but so much that it would be to the point of vomiting, not from chest congestion but from the pricking in my throat. Truth be told, when I felt really bad, the two things that helped me the most was chicken broth with chili powder and Vicks vaporub. The shortness of breath lingered a bit, so finally went to doctor in 8th week. They gave me Singulair, only had to take 2-3 doses and been good ever since.

I did the clinic thing halfway thru with a nurse practioner. Tested neg for flu. I was about over it by the time I saw the doctor. I chalked it up to allergies, but now I wonder. Oh well. Doesnt really matter now.

if you have children now, dont. I speak from experience as a many times over adoptive parent. The kid with emotional problems cant help it, but your other children, especially if they are biological children, have a high probability of being their victim. Just being honest here. Yes, those children will need stability and love and families. But if you have your own children, they need those things too, and believe me when I tell you, it will turn their world upside down and pissibly lead to your children's victimization. Again, I speak from experience. It's a hard road, anon, and it sometimes doesnt always end well for the children you already have in your home; if you do.

This is gonna sound harsh and I am not trying to denigrate these children at all, but, depending on their age, they probably are not only victims, but victimizers.
