Definitely legit, and way beyond rundown tunnels and holding rooms. There are almost certainly incredibly sophisticated laboratories, conducting experiments and work that could not be done above ground. Weapons development and testing, as well as possibly crazy stuff like what has been rumored at Dulce. Security would be off the charts.
Hopefully the layout and security details would be available to the kind of teams that would have to penetrate such places.
Jones did a show once where the Grove was hinted at as being the location of the rape and murder of a child from the Franklin material; can't remember if it was actually named or not.
