Made the mistake of watching a YT livestream today. This was for a channel that is thoughtful, well researched, and of sound judgment in matters of geopol.
But the chat comments by the audience were astonishingly crass, displayed fundamental ignorance of matters in the public domain, and were generally dense and, occasionally, loathsome.
The audience is likely to be at least of average intelligence.
Sometimes I wonder it all this is worth it.
The clue to understanding lies in the headings. An “example” of something generally does not exhaust the content of the concept of which it is an example.
Reading comprehension is a valuable skill to master.
