Something I've noticed about POTUS (and I'm sure many anons have seen it), he has no qualms about using particular people and their unique skill set as long as they are beneficial to his vision. I'm not a fan of Bolton, but with (Iran next) I can't imagine a much more hard line person to spearhead that.
Exactly, anon. POTUS sees people as assets, not commodities. I don't know about Bolton's ties to oil and such, but I believe Tillerson wasn't the guy to deal with nations that are oil rich. I don't doubt his service, but being humans, I can see his decision making could be compromised based on his background. And Bolton is absolutely rabid about the Middle East, especially Iran.
I just think that POTUS will use Bolton as long as he is needed and effective. Just as he did Tillerson and so many others before them. He's a results oriented guy. He will do what's necessary to get the results he wants.
