I'm not sure if your qualified to explain this in a way that would pass as medical advice. I'm not either, really. But, what I can tell you is that pH is a measure of conductivity. Your body, it's organs, and the cells that comprise everything, requires a certain voltage to maintain functionality. If you pH is a neutral 7.0, then there isn't enough "juice", so to say, to power things in your body. Granted, too much "juice" can be potentially harmful, since your essentially frying your cells and shit. But reversing polarity can also be very dangerous, since things will no longer be able to function properly under those circumstances either.
The sad part is where many in the field haven't the slightest clue about simple concepts like how pH is related to conductivity and how that affects the natural circuitry of one's body, because of the ass-backwards manner in which this type of thing is taught to people…
