A little while (anywhere from 3 weeks to 6 months) ago, I spoke with a fren of mine who happens to be an operator in another branch that uses 4 letters for their abbrev. He tole me a story about how he'd recently spent a little time in an LA country (won't say which but the town he was in has a bad air pollution problem). He didn't divulge much since he's straight up, but he did pass on that they didn't do much more than hang out at their pad and look around. Mentioned something about how you could just tell who was looking to snatch someone off the streets, they're so fuckin' obvious about it.
Now these guys don't just hang out, drink cervezas and perform individual chastity checks for kicks. So, if they didn't kick doors (they didn't, I'd a knowed if they did) then they were prolly just getting the lay of the land…
Oh, bonus - right after that, he spent a minute somewhere in Asia. No info except grins.
