Anon has experienced similar supply chain issues with large electronics manufacturers. They only allow you to buy through certain authorized distributors. You cannot buy direct. They make you sign an agreement saying you won't sell outside your location or below a certain price (MAP) but they don't ever intend to enforce that policy. Meanwhile the "authorized distributors" will sell to anyone willing to pay and product floods all the wrong markets. Items get sold sideways and the manufacturer turns a blind eye because they don't really give a fuck about anything else but selling their product. That's what it looks like to me.
I have noticed WAY less in my area. It is so good to see that cerulean blue again. My guess is less commercial air travel so less opportunities for them to run the operation.
