Typical to use training exercises and videos to illustrate the medical care being provided.

If filming actual patients, especially closeup, risk violations to HIPAA confidentiality and if something later happens to patient, emotional distress for family and friends seeing the footing. Also an issue with consent of the patient and family.

 

News footage like an accident typically donn't get as close or may blurr details.
