According to a time magazine article from Jan 2018, even in a year with slightly more flu activity, hospitals can be easily overrun with patients. 2017-2018 also saw surge tents outside of hospitals and patients treated in hallways. I am seeing plenty of the #filmyourhospital type videos showing the places being empty, So this tells me that this media manufactured "pandemic" is really nothing out of the ordinary or may even be causing the season to be much less severe.
