I did the numbers on this and charted it out. None of it made any sense. NY, with a population of 20 Million projected 16261 deaths. California with 40 million only showed 5000 deaths. The estimated peak deaths were also wonky. New Jersey showed being hit first in early April while West Virginia and Virginia wouldn't be hit until late May.

None of the patterns made any sense. It was all very random. New York was the only state with numbers in excess of 15000, while most states showed less than 3000.
