How desperate do you have to be to say that ventilators are necessary knowing medical personnel will use them the wrong way which will cause the death toll to rise due to artificial causes? The term 'manufactured' crisis has been used on this board before but this takes it an entirely new level. They will literally send people to the hospital for 'treatment' knowing that treatment will kill them.

For the anon asking about the bends and altitude sickness. Those are two different conditions. Altitude sickness results from a loss of oxygen otherwise known as hypoxia. Anon here went through the altitude chamber training prior to beginning flight training many years ago.
The bends results in gases in the bloodstream dissolving into bubbles. Although it can happen at altitude, it's a different condition from hypoxia. Basically it's why SR-71 and U-2 pilots wear astronaut suits while flying at the extreme altitudes they fly. IIRC this condition can begin at an altitude of 50,000 feet.
TL;DR: Different things. One is oxygen deprivation - hypoxia. The other is decompression sickness - gases dissolving into the bloodstream. Hope that helps.
