Had a thought about something I saw while lurking but now I can't find it again.
Apparently a doc said that the Covid patients had symptoms that resembled altitude sickness.
I was wondering if the opposite could be true. Like divers get the bends. Could someone who has spent a long time underground, get altitude sickness when they come to the surface?
The thing is though, that divers with the bends need to be in a decompression chamber, not on a ventilator. I'm not a med. person, but this has always been my understanding.
