Boatfag report…
Two Canadian warships are off the coast of Mendocino County, California, right now. (Is that the entire Leaf fleet???) They are headed home, having originated from San Diego and Mexico, respectively. They are next to a chemical tanker headed from Mexico to Vancouver. I don't think this is normal.

I knew I should have been a planefag instead. Planefags get more attention than boatfags.
My best guess is that the tanker is now empty after having been escorted down to Mexico for a delivery of maple syrup. I have no idea what else the Leafs could or would be doing with their entire Navy and one tanker. That's just a lot of maple syrup, even for the Leafs. …and naval ships.
