I saw it last night. While I agree with Dr. Shive that we should focus on long term immune health solutions (eat right and stop poisoning our food), there is value in short term solutions to those who are already infected and who are having abnormal cytokine storm reactions.
For example, we know that the ACE2 receptor in the lungs is the critical target for these SARS CoV viruses and there are many readily available approved drugs (eg hydroxychloroquine, telmisartan) and natural compounds (NH4Cl, Zncl, citrus flavonoids, and others) that target this receptor. For example, we have known that hydroxychloroquine targets (ACE2) and its efficacy 4 SARS-CoV since 2005 (discovered by the CDC). Their paper has since been cited by more than 160 scientific publications from all around the world.

Another safe and FDA approved drug that may work well is telmisartan, a great anti-hypertensive that may significantly reduce the risk of SARS COVID19 because it strongly down regulates ACE2 receptors that these viruses use to gain entry.
