When our worldwide systems of government are so weak and powerless that they cannot stand up to one country that:

has infiltrated every other country on the planet.

repeatedly infects the world with deadly viruses.

repeatedly causes mass suffering and death.

repeatedly threatens everyone around them.

etc etc etc…
And our current governments cannot find a way to collectively neutralize this constant worldwide threat to humanity and world peace. And they will lie and claim they are protecting us while allowing this to not only continue but to thrive.
That's as close to "we're fucked" as we can get.
