They're complaining that POTUS is mentioning a possible (actual) cure.
Imagine, a perfect (political) world, and the President knows that there's a possible cure to a pandemic that his country and WW are going through, yet he never mentions it. Then what would we say about that President?
Woudln't we say that he was somewhat neglegent??
