Some of us have correctly worn that flag, raised, lowered, folded, and saluted that flag for most of our adult lives. It stands for something and never falls for anything. Despite the failures in leadership in this country and our government that flag is still there. The Star Spangled Banner doesn't just refer to the Battle of FT McHenry. After all that we have been through as a country, OUR FLAG IS STILL THERE!
Correct anon. The Flag doesn't represent the US Government. They have official Seals (symbols) for that. The Flag, as you correctly stated, represents all of us. We the People.
