St. Louis Federal Reserve Head Says Americans Should Be Tested for COVID-19 Daily And Forced To Display a Badge on Their Clothing with the Result

In an era when the government is using cell phone data to track our movements, drones to enforce compliance of lockdown orders, thermal imaging to monitor social distancing, pastors are getting arrested for hosting church, and ankle bracelets to ensure people stay quarantined, a Federal Reserve official proposed today yet another surveillance plan; daily coronavirus testing for every citizen, and we publicly display badges showing if we tested negative or positive.

James Bullard, CEO of the St. Louis branch of the Federal Reserve, was recently on CBS’s Face The Nation with Margaret Brennan to talk about the state of the economy and what could be done to stem the outbreak of the virus. Toward the end of the interview, Bullard says,

“You know, I have good news for you, MARGARET, because we have a- there is a solution using available technology today to fix the economic part of this problem. The solution is universal testing. What you want is every single person to get tested every day. And then they would wear a badge like they would at a- after they voted or something like that to show that they’ve been tested. This would immediately sort out who’s been infected and who hasn’t been infected. That would help the health care sector. But it would also help the economy because we could interact with each other with a lot of confidence.”

Former FDA commission Scott Gottlieb also appeared on the show and spoke about how we need “massive surveillance system” to combat the virus.

What’s next? Will they suggest that maybe those who are infected wear a badge that happens to be a yellow star? You know, to identify the undesirables.

Trump Says White House Coronavirus Model Overestimated Number Of Hospital Beds Needed

President Donald Trump said Sunday that the coronavirus model the White House has been using overestimated the number of beds that would be needed to treat patients.

The president admitted that the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) model his administration was using has been off on the number of hospital beds needed, but did not say whether he would be open to changing the type of models he’s been using.

“It’s turning out that we need less hospital beds,” Trump said at the coronavirus task force’s daily press briefing. “We may have models, but we’ve been sort of saying that. In New York, we were saying we think you’re gonna need less.”

New York has become the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak in the U.S., but has not faced the hospital shortages projected by the IHME model, which did account for social distancing in its original projections.

The model projected that New York would need 65,400 hospital beds by April 4, but only 15,905 were actually used, according to former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson.

Paedophiles ramp up online grooming and file sharing during lockdown

Paedophiles are sharing even more child sexual abuse material online during the coronavirus lockdown, with law enforcement warning the "worst in humanity" will exploit the pandemic.

Europol's European Cybercrime Centre has also detected online conversations on the dark web, where predators have discussed how to target children no longer at school.

Users on dark web child sexual exploitation boards have repeatedly referenced minors on the anonymous chat site Omegle, Europol said.

"This pandemic brings out the best but unfortunately also the worst in humanity,"

Europol's boss Catherine De Bolle declared.

"I am very concerned about the rise of child sexual abuse online."

Australian police have also urged parents to keep a closer eye on children who are spending more time online during lockdown.

"Don't let your guard down," NSW Police Minister David Elliott said.

"Just because they are in your home doesn't mean they are not exposed to evil."

Isolated and "bored" offenders are networking on the dark web and stating their increasing interest in image trading, the Europol report said.

Some countries were noting more adult offenders attempting to initiate contact with children via social media.

Offenders are likely to attempt to take advantage of emotionally vulnerable, isolated children through grooming and sexual coercion and extortion.

Sharing of illegal abuse material on peer-to-peer platforms had also been observed by Europol.
