Daughter of medicare founder Tommy Douglas was an impassioned social justice advocate

Sutherland announced his mother's death on Twitter, saying she succumbed to complications surrounding pneumonia on Sunday morning. He said that her illness was not related to COVID-19.

Pneumonia or Covid-19?

In March of 2015 the two of us almost completely bed ridden for the whole month and weaken for days after. This was respiratory, shortness of breath, coughing up phlegm, fever.

That past September through October I had spent time in California with my family, I took the train both ways. I think it's very possible that I brought this "flu" home. I observed there was one man traveling by himself and listening to speeches in Arabic or from that religion, he was polite to a blind person across the isle from him helping him, but Kept to himself constantly listening, watching phone.
