paddington (1958) is an allegory intended to sway public opinion toward accepting immigrants from former colonies. it has obviously exceeded all expectations. this film version is presented by harvey weinstein and contains an interesting escalator scene with the bear having fallen on its back. and there is also a boogie man - or rather boogie woman. she is the spectre of colonialism that ominously looms ready to snatch its chance to return!
sorry not weinstein
QUICK QUESTION FOR ANON
did my paddington post appear to you as slide / shill?
i was trying to provide anon with a glimpse of how swaying public opinon works [edward bernays].
Getting normies to truly experience this happening in front of their eyes is critical to getting the public ready.
roseanne really is a remarkable and special person.
people believe deeply and intuitively that biology matters.
yet somehow we tolerate blank slatism in academia and media.
kidding of course. it would make for a good tv show, but we'll just let this current movie play out instead.
that guy looks REALLY upset
brainwashing. done by mentally distressed people. protesters are either ill or hired. why do we tolerate this? don't we care about people? the interview with the neighbors who reported them to CPS is incredibly real and human.
