1) The Secretary of the Navy is a big FUCKING JACKASS. How you going to talk shit about the captain? I'm ok with firing him In fact I fully support it. But then going to his men that love him and would follow their captain into battle and try to insult the captain. That is fucking stupid, and could never be well received.

2) WTF is going on on the Theodore Roosevelt? Why is everything that happens on that ship being leaked.

I agree he was right to fire the captain.

But then to go to his men and call him stupid, you're just stirring the pot, now.

Fire the guy, tell us why, like he did, and basta, finito. Don't go to the ship and kick the guy on the way out. There is no advantage to be gained, only exposure and further damaging the moral.

Firing = Good.

Addressing the shipmen as he did = Bad.

In reality, he should've fired the guy on the sly, like in a month or two. The ship is docked, it wasn't urgent. Necessary, absolutely. Timing could've been better.
