Follow the money. What good is trafficking if you can’t get the money back into the system? Is a lot of the money laundered through fake tourism and construction? Why are narco planes showing up in an area that was usually immune to trafficking? Is it because keeping laundering and trafficking separate compartmentalizes the operation and reduces the risk for each piece?
