I was thinking a few things:

Celebs start scarfing themselves and the media covers it as a CV death. Normies would freak at every cough and sniffle and overrun hospitals and medical practices, which they already do en mass for every cough and sniffle. Everything is set up for a manufactured panic already.

Or something big is coming we don’t know about yet and those are trauma/comfort beds.

Or something big is coming and people will need serious medical help

Or they won’t be needed at all and we blame fake news

Either way..
